Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

     The book I’m about to tell you about is named Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.  I read it because I’m a big fan of the Harry Potter book series. In this essay I’ll be talking about the story, the characters in the book, and my favorite parts of the book. 

     My first favorite part of the book is back in Harry’s room. Harry was doing  homework , he was doing it under his blanket because his aunt and uncle forbid him doing any magic. Harry was no ordinary boy.  He was a wizard. A wizard who came back from his second year at Hogwarts. Even in the Wizarding world he was still not ordinary.  Harry has a scar from the evilest sorcerer in the world who is named, Lord Voldemort.  On Harry’s birthday, after he was done with his homework, three owls came in to his room. Two of the owls were holding up the third. The third was his best friend Ron’s owl who is very old and kept crashing, but at least he had the letter still on him. One letter came form his best friend Hermione and the other one was from the house keeper Hagrid. Harry got three letters and three gifts! It made him very happy! His friends remembered his birthday! This part is my favorite because I like it when Harry gets letters. It made me happy for him.

     My second favorite is when Harry, Ron and Hermione went to comfort Hagrid because his pet hippogriff, Buckbeak, was getting slaughtered. On Harry’s and his friends way there, Malfoy and his friends Crab and Goyle, were  making fun of Hagrid and Buckbeak. Then Hermione went over to Malfoy and punched him! Girl power! It is my second favorite part in the book because it shows girls have power against boys.

     My third favorite part in the story it was when Serious Black turns out to be Harry’s godfather, what! After that Ron broke his leg when Ron, Hermione and Harry were in the hospital wing (because of Ron’s broken leg and harry was knocked out )Hermione reveals that she has a time-turner! She and Harry went back in time to save Serious Black from the dementors! And guess what they did! Hooray everybody is happy! This is my third favorite part because I like how Hermione has a time tuner, like, is that cool?!
